Re: [Archivé] Nydoo [Libre]

That huge sound had blanked her mind.
Nydoo was so scared that she kept whispering: Nydoo.. dooo..dooo.do.do..., the same tempo as shivering rhythm. The electric current kept leaking from the plate, clashing with the hammer, which made its force stronger and more unbearable. She dare not to loose her hands...
Pushed out toward the sky by Nydoo’s sudden attachment, the boy’s face fell on the ground first. As if taking a ride on a roar-coaster, Nydoo dived down with him and the hard brake forced on them nearly “paralyzed” her tiny hands on the holder; also her face hit on the tough hammer without mercy.
Not much energy she was left, she used them all on the “holding”. Afraid of dropping off and letting go the plate…anyway, that was what she had only. Nydoo. Looking at the boy’s back of head, she knew he was suffering much more pain than her… coughing, groaning, spatting… Not to mention the plate was still working… through the hammer to his body… that voltage might have exceeded over a human body could bear…
The nervousness and frighten occupied her thought completely. Her two big eyes couldn’t absorb other information from the surrounding… no aware of something had been changed.
They must be cut off ! The plate and the hammer !
Just that moment, Nydoo felt herself become stiff, as if someone had “pinched” her back, no it’s more like penetrating. A force from behind had connected to her body and the plate. The power “numbed” her body, the sound of sand scratching “ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ”, like teeth chattering.
To hold herself well on the plate, she encouraged herself by keeping saying: Nydoo. However, a roar of the boy: Get ! Off ! Of! Me ! broke her nerve again !
Suddenly, a backward force dragged her a huge pain …. Since the magnetic force between the hammer and the plate was strong enough to stick together while for the connection of herself and the plate was simply from her “tiny hand” strength… If that force from behind pulled more severely, her hand… Now, it reached the maximum of her hand “stretching length” !
“NY…..DOOOOOOO…!”
The boy was also in suffer. He kept moving forward to against that force…
Then, a ssssssssssnap! That sound set Nydoo, the magnetic plate and the hammer free from the boy to the sky.
“Nydoo..Ny...doo….”
Flying backward, an unknown force was so powerful that could hold the heavy hammer in the air… she had no idea where she would end up but only knew, the weight of hammer nearly pressed her into death… what if there was a solid trunk waiting for her bumping???
“Ny-”
Suddenly, a sand pile caught her?…
The crush force then inserted into that “sand pile”, which highly reduced it on herself. To her much surprise, she had got the sense of familiarity and secured feeling, which she always searched for. What was it?
“Nydoo.”
Nevertheless, a strength pulled the hammer and the plate she grabbed off suddenly… In nervousness, she pulled it back…
You ! Let them go !
Obediently, she loosed her hands and they were cast away… Just then, a hand? covered on her eyes. With the speedy air flowing, she knew they were still moving “backward”; However, that “sandy hand” gave her greatly security… She felt safe and loved… She knew it was the person that she wanted to find this morning but failed !
When they finally stopped, Nydoo moved herself slowly under the cover, peeping at the person...
It was “she”.
With her breath up and down, Nydoo felt safety, lying on her chest and whispered weakly:
Nydoo.

- Spoiler:
Knowing something alive were lying on herself was really annoying. Once her hand got bit of energy, she pushed “it” off her chest. To her stun, she found “it” was a SAND creature. Slipping off her body, “it” rolled its eyes and stared at her- Two big hollow eyes and horny head with tiny limbs and small body. She had never seen other creatures made of sand except for her. She thought she was the only one, the “uniquest”.
Strangely, despite of the straight sight from this creature, her palm felt no hurt now. Would it be the matter of distance?
WHAT’S IT ! Anyway !
This question she soon found a person to ask… That one, the boy stood afar. He looked pissed off, a misanthrope, as if he were sick of the world for centuries. His foot was sinking in the sandy ground, looking toward them in full of confusion. Must be that “hug” !
Irritating... Anhydre rise her voice… though she really didn’t want to speak to a stranger. How to call him?!
“Hey, hammer-boy. What’s this creature?”
She pointed the little creature, whose sight never left on her :
“If it is your pet, please take IT back !”
She was annoyed… but at the same time, she was quite curious about this sand thing.
While her eyes swiping around, she found in surprise the blond hair girl was- in that bar ! The armored maker ! The one was quite friendly to her…
But why she was here too? Lifting the armored suit filled with sand…
Anhydre looked back at the creature...
So, who is this boy?
“You three…are family?”

Acheron shook his head, suffering from vertigo from the fall.
The girl's words confused him all the more. He did not understand what was happening, why whe was here in the first place.
He closed his eyes for a second, didn't see his own shadow shift a little, still abnormally large and shapeless. He felt something push on his temples, as if a huge hand just grabbed his head, and the cloud that obscured his thoughts ebbed away, easing the pain radiating on his face.
His anger doused down too.
Acheron shrugged before answering the girl :
- You can keep her. Scrap-head seems to like you more, and she didn't hit you in the back. Yet.
I'm no family to them. Just a passerby here.
But you didn't answer me. Who are you ? And how did you get here ? Only those that are in contact with me follow when I enter inside this place...
That part was true ; he absolutely did not understand how she got there.
He looked down on the ground, to the strange device still glued to his hammer. He could almost hear and feel the buzz that resonated around him when he got hit in the back. What if it was that device that made his powers take this girl too ?
But why didn't he took the spider-builder with him also, since she was standing much closer ?
Acheron growled, in frustration.

SHE ! This creature…. was a female? Ridiculous, how did he know that?! Beside, he said he was only a passerby; in that way, the armored maker was paired up with this little creature?
As the boy’s impatient tone tickled her ears, Anhydre looked at him in surprise :
- Eh, Isn’t you WEB me inside? You said… contact? Although we didn’t touch, your hammer and that plate the creature carried generated magnetic power, which reacted to my left palm and I found I could even move you GUYS.
Beside Anhydre’s feet, Nydoo “dot-dot-dot” with her two hand points touching together, trying to describe the concept of connection.
- Probably because of soil circulation? I am quite sensitive to soil… so maybe, that’s also why this creature… is quite… close to...me.
Anhydre showed a “disgusted” look at the creature.
Nydoo.
She didn’t want to reveal the fact that she was made of sand to a stranger.
Walking to the spider machine, in curiosity, she grabbed a handful sand…
Suddenly, she turned toward the boy with a serious look.
- Ham...Hammer-boy, do you know who brought that car of sand here? And where?
From the texture, the weight, the colour…touching her scar on her left palm…
- That’s impossible.
She whispered.
Nydoo covered her eyes as if she had gone through some kind of nightmare.
Nydoo.
Boooooooooooosssssoooooobooooooooooo….
Boooooooooooosssssoooooobooooooooooo….
Boooooooooooosssssoooooobooooooooooo….

Gosh did he felt tired right now !
But lying down to sleep, with these two uninvited guests, was not a good idea for now. Scrap-had, he could bear ; she could stay silent if she wanted.
This girl however... She just asked questions after questions after questions ! Such a noisy thing ! His brothers and sisters used to kill for far less than that !
She was noisy and lunatic and a stowaway too !
Acheron swept away her explanations with a sway of his hand. Her theory made no sense. He knew only those that touched him came inside the infinitsimal time with him.
He knew it ! No one ever taught him how his powers worked, but that, he knew. He felt it, the rule as obvious to him as fact.
No soil, no magnets, nothing. Only his will, and those he touched.
The young man shrugged when she asked him even more questions about the sand and the metal-spider. He ended up pointing towards Scrap-head :
- Ask her. She did collect the sand and brought the spider here.
The fact he helped was not relevant to bring up, he thought.
Her surprised look was weird, but not enough to make the boy forget his fatigue. It was on him like a heavy curtain, preventing him from having other thoughts than the one to lie down and sleep.
One more thing to do at first though...
He moved a few steps forward and crouched down to retrieve his hammer. To his dismay, the weird object, that plate, was still glued to the weapon. After grabbing the handle of his hammer, he smacked the ground several times, with strength fueled by frustration, smacking the plate with it. He heard something crack after one last hit with a devious sense of satisfaction, and the plate finally sparated from the hammer, staying on the ground for good.
Acheron nodded and got up, looking at the girl while putting the hammer back onto his belt :
- Staying here with you two is too much effort. I will break this pocket of time, but I need to be in contact with you for that, to extract you too, else you'll be trapped forever in here.
The young man started to walk to them, one hand held up in front of him.
He wasn't sure what he just said was true, but if he could get the girl out of his domain faster with this lie, so be it.

Anhydre looked at Nydoo… she covered her eyes and turned back on her as if she didn’t want to face something. When sight moved toward hammer-boy, he shrugged instead and gave a direction at the small creature…
ASK HER? SHE COLLECTED SAND?
Yeah, for being the sand creature was pretty surprising her… but what the hell and why the hell did she collect sand and this car of sand was… exactly the SAME as her body constitution! She couldn’t get it without STEALING her body sand… steal? Tracing back to the past she did lost her sand on a pirate ship once, would it happen again? This guessing made her “nerve” prickle up…Check her body up and down and those memory lines… no, nothing forgotten.
However, were it not for this reason, then how?
Considering this small creature might not be able to say a long sentence but something more like murmuring, she chose yes-no questions.
- Hey, you little…
Nydoo turned round in a rush as if she got an electric shock.
In order to have a talk easier, Anhydre squatted down and pointed at the car.
- Sand. Is you that collected?
Nydoo nodded slightly.
- You found it in the wilderness?
Nydoo shook her head.
- Far from here?
Nydoo didn’t answer. Only a stare.
- Uh, okay… Do you know what it was for? I mean for planting or in nature or other things?
Nydoo then stir the sand toward the spider-foot. Anhydre looked at her in doubt, trying to understand her body language.
- Ooo...ook… then could you tell me where you get it?
Though not expecting she would answer...
Instead of nodding or shaking her head, Nydoo pointed at her- Anhydre.
Nydoo.
- Me? Are... are you sure?
Nydoo nodded very hard.
- Are you… made of real sand?
Nydoo.Nydoo then touched Anhydre' hand. It's a rather fine sand particle.
Anhydre looked aside. Now, Nydoo did prove that car of sand was belonging to somewhere parts of herself. WHAT THE HELL.
Seeing the armored spider car made her think of something. Earlier, the hammer-boy seemed to have mentioned- this small creature brought this car here.
?!
- And this spider car... who made it?
Nydoo pointed at the blond-hair girl, who she had met in the bar. It's true too. The girl once showed her "armored work" and also... she told her... something like... You will know what's the best when you got someone to love and take care of.
SOMEONE ! Now she got a general guess "someone" meant this small creature and armored suit could be an effective protection for sand, especially for fine texture. So the girl had taken care of this small sand creature, who had something to do...
Nydoo looked at her in soft sight and then unexpectedly lay her head on Anhydre's knees but Anhydre got up and pushed her off. Instead, Anhydre backed herself... backed... backed...backed...fixing her eyes on the small creature.
She would like to know...
As they were in a certain distance- about ten meters- Anhydre’s palm started to twitch and she gulped in shock. What the hell is their relationship? Maybe… that was why she was webbed inside the boy’s time power, even though they hadn’t had a contact...
During her surprising discovery period, the hammer-boy walked toward them. Until then, their sight moved to the boy did the pain stop.
Holding his hand in front, the boy looked rather fatigue. His hammer thrown on the ground had returned on his back.
Nydoo soon then obeyed his words and put one hand on his while Anhydre would like to testify her speculation so she shook her head instead and said:
- I’ll get out as I came.
Not to be too harsh, she wore a thin smile.
Staring at the boy…
Wondering where she would appear in next moment.

Again, Acheron shrugged when she backed up, refusing to comply and do things his way :
- Suit yourself, but don't complain if you're stuck in this fragment of time for the rest of your life.
It was certainly a lie. If she could come in here uninvited, she probably would get out the same way, like she said.
But Acheron was fustrated, tired and dirty. All the three were good reasons to be a little mean to her, according to him anyway.
Scrap-head's hand was cold against his own hand, light as a feather.
No point making this go on for longer than necessary.
The young man closed his eyes, focused on what was pressuring his mind, and wished it to go away.
Tac.
Suddenly, noise came back.
Wind howled in his ears, the small breeze always deafening after the silence in the infinitesimal time. The world seemed to be brighter, fresh sunlight reaching his eyes. Acheron felt a pang of regret seize him for a second, as if he just left his home to end up in a foreign and scary place. The feeling ebed away fast, and he sighed, before pulling his hand away from Scrap-head.
Acheron started to shake himself, rubbing his face and hair to remove the dirt and sand ; it became itchy now that the particles could move freely in the time flow.

Suddenly, wind came back and noise crushed over, which made Nydoo nearly fly away. She pressed herself lower and looked down at the ground to against gust. Ny….dooo. Until she was sure of her stable stand did she put down her hand.
-Ahsh…
An almost scream. Sabrina hurried to pull back the spider suit. By looking around, she found the boy held his hammer, scrubbing his face over while the plate was broken in pieces, as if it were smashed by a stony meteorite dropping from the heaven… so… pulverised.
Didn’t he get hurt by that huge magnetic power?
Nydoo stared at her with full-of-question-marks look.
Last second, Nydoo was “magnetised” by the hammer and drew on the boy’s back. A big DONE still buzzed in her ear. Now, everything was back to normal, just a bit of mess.
Good ! No one gets hurt, Sabrina smiled. Nevertheless, this “Second-change” triggered her curiosity- What had the boy done? Looked like he had remove the memories… or doctored the timeline… What happened after that DONE? Nothing she could recall.
Seeing Nydoo had been plugged off from that thundering force, she guessed, this boy wouldn’t be a bad person. After all, it was him helped her collect the sand and walked her here.
- Boy, are you alright? It’s a big crash. That force, I suppose, can draw all the iron stuffs together far from 1000 meters here. Do you get any dizziness or feeling of vomiting?
Sabrina looked at the boy with full caring sight.
- And since the plate is broken now… we cannot fold the suit in the house. I think… maybe, we can bring some of it as sample and leave the suit here for a while. First, we need to know what the sand is and what it can be made into? Okay, Nydoo?
Nydoo nodded.
- And boy, if you don’t mind, you can go down with us… I can help you check if your hammer need to be repaired…I have tools and instruments that can fix those rifts. Honestly, I am quite surprised it was Nydoo drawn to you, not you to her. Your hammer is quite powerful, surely.
Before activating the “door” open, Nydoo eyed around and blinked at the bush.
Then, Sabrina cupped up a pile of sand in the spider suit, waiting for the boy following up.

Acheron sighed and kept shaking himself for a few more seconds, to clean himself from this itchy sand and recollect himself too. Going into the infinitesimal time was not hard for him, usually, but doing so in stressful moments and with passengers really took a toll on him. He was tired, dirty and sweaty. Smelly too, if one could tell, after falling facefirst into the dust.
He grumbled to the spider-builder when she inquired about his well-being :
- No, I'm okay... thanks...
The last word came out awkwardly as if it was the first time he used it in a long while.
Still, with his dusty face and clothes, his reddened cheek from his faceplant earlier, the affirmation that he was okay sounded more like "I don't want your help."
He looked around, but he did not see the annoying blonde girl ; did she make it out of the infinitesimal time ? Or was she trapped forever in this moment, far from everyone else ?
There was no way to find out for sure, unless she showed herself. But Acheron didn't like her, so he wasn't in any hurry to see her again.
The spider-builder invited him to her home and offered to inspect his hammer. The offer made him stand to attention, forgetting about the lost stowaway instantly. H followed the two to an hidden opening in the ground, that revealed metallic stairs.
Acheron didn't like going underground like that ; it reminded him of when he got captured and sent in a cage deep underground too, in Hades...
So he had a frown on his face when he followed and descended the stairs, discovering the only room crowded with desks, kitchen and table, full of boxes, papers and tools. The light was aggressive, artificial, coming out of white pads on the roof and walls. The white paint on the wall was a bit aggressive too, for his eyes.
It smelled like someone who used too much perfume, with a faint underlayer of metal welding and chemistry.
Eve's house was a lot more comfortable. Much bigger too, as Acheron's bedroom in it was bigger than this entire underground room.
Acheron went straight for the nearest chair and slumped on it, stretching his legs and looking at the spider-builder without a word. Except his eyes, that were clearly saying something like "Now what ?"

Light turned on and air circulation machine operated after detecting someone had come in. The tone of color in their house was mainly white and yellow, with lots of cabinets beside and shelves behind. A large and irregular shape lab table was set in the central and along the big wall was a big screen of technological window. Tidy and comfortable. Compared to the outside, it is definitely like paradise.
Sabrina put the sand cupped in her hand down on the glass pane. The boy sat on the chair, stretching his legs and looked at her. She smiled at him. Actually, she had no any idea what her “first” guest would feel like in this secret space. However, from his look, she knew he was really tired and annoyed.
Nydoo climbed into a tiny armor machine, which was used for “dry shower” with rather high temperature to sterilize sand.
Sabrina turned on the faucet and said with a smile:
“Boy, take it easy and come and wash your hands. We have to do experiment under sterile condition so we should at least, keep our hands clean.”
She then put on her lab coat and wear the lab gloves.
Now, which one she should do first? Sand research or hammer fix? The state of dilemma was caught by Nydoo. She stood on the lab control table and pushed the sand pile closer to Sabrina, as if it’s a calling- here, first.
Sabrina laughed and replied:
“Okay, okay, Nydoo… but you know in every sand research, the first step is to grind sand into find particles. And for this case...” she grabbed a little and continued, “it may takes about half an hour to two hours…during that period, we can turn to hammer fix part.”
Nydoo nodded.
By pressing a green button, a grinder hoisted. Sabrina sprinkled all of them even and suppressed the holder. Silently, those sand was drowned into a dark and whirled world.
Nydoo watched it carefully. Carefully. Carefully.
Stretching out her hand to the boy, Sabrina asked politely,
“May you let me take a look at your hammer?”
A short scream came out. The heaviness of hammer nearly activated her armored skin and dragged her down. Thankfully, she pressed it down and grabbed it with two hands. Gosh, how could this boy bring it so easily?
By giving a simple glance at it, she was surprised by the dust on it… Based on her knowledge, this hammer was from far far years ago, not exaggerated, at least ten century. Even if it’s made of a piece of metal, there were a thin layer of paint on, which wasn’t peeled of, despite of rifts.
“You… boy, where did you get this hammer? And how?”
Meanwhile, Nydoo's sight suddenly turned to back with big eyes open...
Nydoo?

With a grunt, Acheron lifted himself up from the chair and lumbered toward the sink. That was the worst : one you stopped moving while tired, it was all the more difficult to get back up !
To Acheron, asking of him to wash his hands when he was covered from head to toe in dust - and with his clothes even dirtier from his fall - was just dumb. Or at least, completely pointless !
But the spider-builder wanted to help him, so he kept his thoughts to himself. While she was filling some weird recipient with the sand she had collected, Acheron put his hands under the faucet to wash them. The contact with moderatly warm water was really nice and, before long, Acheron had his whole arms under the flow of water. A few seconds more and he put his entire head under it, letting the water go down his face, hair and neck.
That did feel nice. !
He only got out of his impromptu shower when he heard the spider-builder explain something to Scrap-head. Something about cleaning the sand... weird.
He shook himself, sending droplets everywhere. Braids still dripping on his face and shoulders, Acheron turned and gave his hammer to the woman... who almost fell down with its weight !
Acheron chuckled, the sound genuine and devoid of mockery, his mean side softened by his small shower.
He nodded to her question and took some time to find the proper words :
- I found it inside a big cavern in Crannsliabh, full of junk and objects like this one. I wanted to explore but the adults got scared by the voice with no mouth that talked in it. So I just grabbed this hammer and left.I wanted to give it to my Father at first, but he said I could keep it.
When I hit something with the hammer, this something shakes and trembles as if during a stampede or an earthquake. If I hit something small, it breaks. If I hit something big several times, it breaks too.
But not always, sometimes it's just a normal hammer. Maybe there is something wrong with it, I don't know...
Acheron stopped and breathed hard ; he usually never spoke this much...

Sabrina didn't mean to asking someone's past so straightly. However, her curiosity to this hammer did bring her out of politeness. To be honest, it was definitely okay if the boy now refused to reply for keeping it personal. A weapon to a person could be a secret or lasting hurt memories, and she knew it better than anyone else. This morning, she just go through it with a "disappeared" girl.
She looking at the boy's expression, his sight seemed to review things from a long time ago. Droplets on his face counted seconds he took. Patiently, Sabrina smiled at him for building his confidence and reliving his nervousness. Finally, the boy found his words. A even of hammer discovery exploded in conciseness- Both how he found and how it worked.
Grabbing key words, Sabrina stared at him seriously. This hammer didn't appear as simple as she thought, since it was "found" not "made", which meant its meaning or function or history were hidden behind itself. However, through the process of understanding how it worked could be really dangerous especially for such a young kid if he were in an emergency situation or defensive situation. Gazing into his eyes, she knew he liked it from button of his heart. Hie eyes sparkling while talking about it. She wished she could help him find it out, at least the potential danger and the precautions.
If all he said were true, earthquake power it released on stuffs... then... Sabrina frowned and touched the hammer on the lab table. It couldn't be normal than other hammers... but still... strangeness could be found when the plate was drawn to it.
Just as she sank into her thought. A sudden sound K, as if someone had just kicked on the shelves behind. Sabrina's sight follow the direction of sound. Out of her expectation, as soon as her sight fixed, a"NYDOO" scream came. The hammer was pushed down by her... she barely hold it up... instead, she dropped with it.
The outcome she dare not to imagine if the hammer pressed her on the ground... Thumping heart beats....
BONG
The fallen hammer did "vibrate" the whole lab, launching a deep and heavy roar.
-Nydoo.
Thankfully, she lay on the boys shoes without getting hurt.
Following was a series of "electric siren"... that caught Sabrina an enormous shock. It only activated in "magnetic field" emergency, which she had developed it for a long time, To build an armor, magnetic force was to control the "clip" balance inside. She never got a chance to teat it... yet, it thundered as if the whole world was going to be overthrew. Couldn't go clear enough, it came from the hit of hammer.
Nydoo now stood up and nodded to her to say "I'm alright".
The electric strings on the wall kept flickering. One way to stop it was to connect it with the original- hammer to correct the magnetic error.
According to her knowledge, she guessed inside the hammer, something was empowering itself, so that by hitting it, it could release twice or third or even tenth times of power.
Now, in this pressing moment, she got to stop the siren; otherwise, later all magnetic devices would be burnt out.
Pressing a white button and pushed a cover of laser screen...
- Boy, help me, take the hammer to that screen. And don't let go... there might be a powerful force to against it but we have to stick it on...
She had to consume the energy inside the hammer...

Re: [Archivé] Nydoo [Libre]
Lun 5 Aoû 2019 - 0:53
There was a brief pause after his story, during which the spider-builder semmed to ponder his words and what it meant about the hammer. Then, the weapon went down with a loud crack and a thud, as if grabbed by invisible hands, nearly making the woman fall. Before registering what had happened, Acheron saw - and somewhat felt - Scrap-head on his feet.
By his Father's name, what the hell just happened ?
Of course, the hammer activated when it hit the floor, causing a tremor that went like a wave in this underground chamber. In response to that, sparks buzzed, red lights turned on and a screeching loud sound started. Every pice of furniture seemed to come alive in some weird way, flashing and humming like deranged elfers.
Acheron felt all the hairs on his body straightens themselves up, just as a weird metallic taste invaded his tongue and nose.
His hammer was on the ground, pommel facing up to the ceiling. The metallic weapon was full of sparks, as if channeling the power of a thunderstorm. That looked cool to Acheron, who thought of his sister well-versed in magic and who liked her thunder spells.
The spider-builder's call brought him back to the present. The chaotic and loud present.
He frowned while looking at her, struggling to lift the hammer. Annoyed because he had to help for this simple task and not really listening to her word, the young man stepped forward and reached for the weapon.
As soon as he grabbed the handle side by side with the spider-builder, he felt electricity go up his arm, the feeling quite unpleasant making him want to scratch himself.
With the woman, he lifted and pulled... but the hammer stayed stubbornly put, glued to the ground.
The screeching sound was really going on his nerves now and, frustrated by his weapon's behaviour, Acheron suddenly pushed the spider-builder aside to position himself right above the stubborn weapon and grab it with two hands.
- Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggghhhh !
Tic...
Giving it his all, Acheron did not register immediatly that he was now in the silent infinitesimal time.
The hammer instantly went up and he almost hit himself with it, surprised by the movement. The room was dead silent, even if the air seemed to slowly vibrate from the electricity and magnetic fields going through, the latent energy making slow waves, like heat-wave.
Acheron didn't pay much attention to it. Now that he had his weapon in hand, he looked at the device on table the spider-builder pointed at, that weird black plate that seemed to generate light.
She told something about putting the hammer on it, if he recalled correctly...
The heat-waves like thingies were really concentrated above that plate. Seeing that, Acheron shrugged and just swung his hammer high before slamming it down on the plate. Strangely, he still felt some resistance before the weapon hit the plate, the "heatwaves" turning into spikes in front of his eyes just before collapsing.
Tac...
He got out of the infinitesimal time, proud of himself.
The sparks. Exploded.
With a loud bang and a blinding flash of light, every single piece of furniture that seemed able to produce any form of sparks suddenly flashed one last time. Acheron felt a pulse pass through him, coming from the plate he hit with the hammer, right before everything went dark, the lights coming off.

Electrical stream waved into her arms, blood and veins, Sabrina felt the teeth chattered, which diverged her energy and concentration a lot. Hardly could she exert her full strength under such continuous vibration… Her thought was boiling and went numb while siren did cook her nerve up.
Looking at the boy, obviously, he was suffering the same disaster.
Just as she was about to lose the last string of her feeling in holding and strength, the boy’s sudden push “saved” her. However, because of heavy numbness, she lost her balance and fell to the ground. Hurt had been crashed down by insensitive waves while her brain still circled with it. Unable to move, Sabrina stayed on the floor, closing her eyes hard to squeezed out the aching of limbs and dizziness.
Sabrina gave out a sign of relief as soon as she has felt her body was no longer under current flow. Yet, beyond the expectation, as colors and everything came into her sight, the boy’s “must-be-this-one” crush on the plate put out the light all of sudden and made an explosive BANG… so quick that even a scream could not be made. Everything died down after letting out the last breath of spark. Siren ceased finally.
WHAT. THE. HELL? Yeah, she knew things must be done that way since the power of “heatwave” against the hammer was enormously abusive force that would caught him much danger if he couldn’t hold it balanced than sending it a crash. Nevertheless, still, she felt so sorry for her machine… it was unbearable to see the scene in person. Grabbing her last sight, thankfully, she found the “sand analysis machine” was still working...
DARK. Pitch black.
Sudden a scorching aching from her skin made her yell.
- Damn !
Although she tried to press her “dim-resist” skin down as best as she could- not to scare the boy, the heat, which nearly stripped off her skin, took her determined will away. Growing a suit, starting from her hand to her toes, in less five seconds, she was in her “Armour-planting suit”. In efficiency, she got a release from heating pain. Never did she ever thought one day, she would transfer in the suit in the lab... looking at herself, quite like an idiot. Thanks to her suit, now she got a bright sight in the darkness now.
Her metal suit "kkkkk" with the ground.
- Boy, that's a brave saving, thanks haha. You did have a quite powerful strength.
Ready to stand up… suddenly, a knock.
Nydoo was beside her legs, tapping her suit. She had rolled a “night-sight sand bomb”, which could improve one’s seeing in the dark as clear as under lights or sun. The sand bomb was made of owl’s “low-light cell”. Then, Nydoo pointed at the boy with her tiny left hand.
- You mean...
Nydoo nodded.
Maybe, she was right since the power of light might not be able to come so fast, not impossible at least in an hour… During their research of hammer, it would be rather inconvenient and hilarious if the boy was in half blind.
- Well... boy… Uh…I will explain to you my suit later… but something I would like to ask you...
she barely could find a proper word when it comes to a word- bomb.
- Uh… I don’t mean to hurting you or doing you harm but it will be better if you can get a clear vision during the darkness, especially in the experiment. Based on my knowledge, light won’t come so fast. Here, we have “night-sight sand bomb”. It’s made of rather fine sand, not gunpowder. Take a shot to your eyes, you can see everything clear and I think it’s better to get your approval first.
Sabrina held up a long and thin magazine and a rocket gun behind her suit...
- Damn !

In the complete dark, Acheron breathed deeply, feeling at ease.
Aside from sounds of movement coming from the spider-builder, there was only silence, now that the machines had stopped their annoying humming.
Acheron felt relaxed : he had spent so much time sleeping in the dark within in cell in Hades, with just the faint presence of his Father near him, that it was now a comfort to him. Sometimes he wished to be back in this cell, as things were simpler back then. Now there always was some things someone of his family asked of him, some errands to run...
Right now, he just wanted this moment of calm to last forever, so he could sleep in peace. Of course, he always had the infinitesimal time to get a break out of the world if he wanted to, but it always felt tiring, and sleeping in it was never giving him a restful sleep. Acheron was lazy, so when he went to sleep, he wanted to make it count, at least.
The spider-builder's voice startled him out of his relaxed state. He frowned at first ; her voice sounded different, as if she was talking from behind a door, there were strange intonations to it...
Acheron could hear the buzzing sounds and the heavier footsteps when he sensed she was moving around.
Now that he thought about it, it sounded just like that metal spider when it moved.
What was happening with her ?
Only then did he register what the spider-builder was saying - so the compliment about his strength went all over his head :
- What ? You want to put what in my eyes ?
In that moment, he really sounded indignant - a bit snobish even - almost mimicking some of Ulrik mannerisms without realising it.
She explained herself a bit more.
Acheron listened, noting again how her voice sounded different. He did not really believe her when she said this "sand" would be painless against his eyes. He had the eyes of a desert-dweller, used to wind full of sand and he could endure that pretty well, but he still doubted her.
Besides, he didn't feel the need to see again right now, feeling at ease in the dark. He did feel curious about what were these strange sounds coming from her, though...
- Hmmm... whatever. Use your sand if you want.
If it was a trap, his hammer was still at arm's reach.

Words hanging in the air waited for the approve. Sabrina paused her pick as the boy raised his voice up to sure of what he heard. That questioning made her rethink again. Yeah, to her, it was quite an usual and effective way to clear his sight with night-sight sand use; however, to a boy or to any normal person, sand was something annoying and dirty stuff, not to mention putting those particles into fragile eyes.
And there, she heard a sign of anger, or to say… surprised and offended.
Sabrina held her rocket like a soldier…
Silence seemed to be counting the boy’s hesitation and consideration or thousands of doubts with heart thumping the time. So afraid the boy might think her as a threat but no, all she wanted was to make the whole process safe and successful. Perhaps, this asking had too much exaggeration for him.
Finally… a slight sound floated...
She raised her eyebrows as “hummm” dragged the boy’s mind into a pit of agreement. Her smile cast at him landed on the last period. This agreement gave her lots of courage and in some way, it meant the boy’s trust.
She nodded and said,
“Ok, boy, so please ease your mind with your eyes open. Don’t hunchback. Stand still and don’t move. I will countdown from three to one.”
Sabrina stepped back to measure the length between them. 2 meters was the best.
“3”
She raised the rocket cocked in front of her eyes...
“2”
With the muzzle aiming at his eyes and
“1”
Project.
POOMS.
The sound was more like having fireworks than launching a gun. It took less than a second. No sound of sand sprinkling, which meant all sand particles had attached on the boy’s cornea in success. It supposed to feel nothing but only the sight improved.
Sabrina put her gun rocket on the bed and walked to the boy, looking into his eyes straightly to check if there was anything wrong.
“You are brave! But do you feel any comfortableness? How do you feel now? And don’t blink your eyes too often, in case of getting rid of sand particles. It can stay longer than the power returning to the lab. Two to three hours I guess.”
To be honest, it was her first time launching her sand bomb at a human…
And obviously, her pleasantness could be heard in her caring tone to the boy.
“And yes, as you can see… I am an armored girl once getting into darkness. You may be quite surprised at… a robot-like human. Thanks to it, now I have enough strength to crack your hammer open haha.”
Easily as she picked it up with two armored hands NOW…
Weighting the two ends of hammer… balanced…
However, a grin disappeared when she found a thing that was: heavy, less heavy, heavy, less heavy… a really faint rhythm.
What ?!
Her looks changed with the TWO different weight in each second rhythmically.
She didn’t know it before since it was all the same weight of heaviness to her fleshed hand; but now… in the armored suit, it went different…
“Gosh… boy……it can BREATH, no I mean yes,... here, put your hands on my armored-suit hands. And try to feel it !”
She said it urgently...
She held it in front of him, like carrying a baby.
Heavy,
Less heavy,
Heavy,
Less heavy…
Drew in, drew out...
Sabrina stared at the boy attentively.

Still not really trusting her intentions - even if she showed no signs of aggression until then, this was just getting too weird to his taste after all - Acheron stood his ground nonetheless and followed her words, facing where she probably was based of the sound of her voice.
Her weird, muffled voice.
If he just had to stand still and keep his eyes open to get it over with, so be it...
Her countdown did nothing to prepare him for what was coming. On the contrary, It made him more tense as it went down. His muscles seized in surprise when he felt a cloud of... something hit him ; it went around his head just like a gust of wind would, leaving a strange metallic smell behind.
Then, he blinked several times and his vision slowly came back to him.
The laboratory appeared in layers of grey, no colors visible through this weird sand contraption on his eyes. Every angles looked sharp, the contrast making every element stand out. Acheron blinked several times, a bit stunned by this form of vision.
- I... feel... fine. Everything lost its colors, but I can see.
Then, he saw the spider-builder, her body now covered by a skin-tight armor up to her neck and jaw, the aspect akin to the metallic spider Scrap-head were using earlier.
When did she took the time to get this armor on ? And without removing her white coat ?
Acheron frowned, noticing now that the strange sounds he heard coming from her were her armor moving around. He stepped aside from her path when she approached to get to the hammer. He nodded to her words but still kept a few feet between them, as precaution.
He nodded once again when she lifted his hammer, feeling a spark of amusement seeing her do it as if it was a huge strain on her. Then, he frowned when she talked about his weapon "breathing" before joining her to inspect it with her.
But he felt nothing under his palm. No movements whatsoever. He frowned even more.
- There's nothing... are you sure of your steel hand's sense of touch ?

The boy’s doubt to her “heart-thumping” discovery made her frown, dipping in a bit of frustration.
What? No? The boy felt nothing?
“Yes. I am quite sure !”
Steel might be senseless to temperature but it could be rather sensitive toward movement because of its solid surface. By putting her feeling deeper in it and with her eyes close, she could even feel the vibration of “whip—whip—whip”, which also “booboo” her metal-covered hands in a deep resonace.
She swore to god it had no illusion and imagination. Every time when it “drew in”… a slight “whip”, as if there were wheelwork about to run but shut off sooner than she counted a second.
She murmured: One…two… three… On- One… two… three… On-.
“gOSH...”
Followed by an awe, despite of knowing the reason, this found had gave her a sense of achievement. Now, she was going to work on this founding.
Since electricity hadn’t come to relive their devices in lab, she got to make one… Therefore she dragged out a “steps” machine below the cabinet, which could generate power by stepping on it with one foot.
“Boy… we have to do it together.”
Because of her “big and hard” hands and as what the boy said: the clumsy feel of touch, which was difficult for her to grab two ends of electric strings… They just floated away like weightless threads.
“Help me this… take those wires... we had to stock them inside the hammer… but let me check something first.”
Thanks to those dents on the hammer, Sabrina got her one knee on hammer to fix the it on the ground and pulled the other side with her right hand. A “pitying” seam (0.3cm) was shown right after her “god-demon-hell-satan-breaking-the-world” energy but it closed up quicker than three seconds.
“Good. See, now you know what we need to do. Before my energy lose control over it… you … have… to… put wires in. And I will work this machine out, you have to make your hammer stay ….stay here by pressing it on the ground. Use all your energy. There will be a huge power, which may damage the hammer if it disconnected with the floor. Floor can diverge the power, at least keep your hammer in shape. Clear? ”
After that energy cost, she panted her words. Okay, that was really “god-demon-hell-satan-breaking-the-world”.
“I’ll count. Ready ? 3---2---1 !”
God-demon-hell-satan-breaking-the-world !
To her surprise, the boy’s nimble action didn’t waste her strength. By nodding to him, she moved a step and gave “steps” to the machine by pressing it with her two metal-covered hands. UP-DOWN-UP-DOWN…
That “steps machine” was to power the hammer… This concept was the same as AED. However, there was no other way to make the hammer “whip”, only on its own.
This was only a test.
After removing wires, everything returned back. She did this just to let the boy know how this hammer worked and also to prove what she speculated. If she wasn’t mistaken, the boy could feel the hammer was getting light and continuous “whipping” vibration now.
“Be careful. Mustn’t let it float up.”
That powering number shown on the machine monitor was quite astonishing. The hammer could bear hundred times or even more than she expected… Before burning out the machine, she stopped.
Until everything died down like minutes before did Sabrina find her words.
“Guess now I should tell you what I found. There, inside the hammer, was a tiny “wheelworks”, which could bear enormous power. However, since your breaking...”
She looked around to show him this “dark-lab” masterpiece his hammer did...
“It lost all its power. And there were no better charger than itself, Also, it won’t accept other devices to help it… that’s why I ask you to press it down, in order not to let it find something was coming. The amount of “electrical charge” came to it was exactly the same as it gives to itself.”
She continued:
“Beside, you may notice… the whipping sound. The faster it runs up, the lighter it becomes. And the last but not least thing I would like to remind you is, it can mess up the magnetic field order for its reversed whipping direction… it will be disastrous, remember that ! … and that’s why after Nydoo’s push, the lab alerted up. That wheelworks inside wanted to wheel itself up by twisting itself from other way… however, little did it know its power goes against nature.”
Unsure whether the boy understood or not, Sabrina looked at him, waiting for his further asking.
However, at the same time, Nydoo was on her way of rushing toward her.
The sand machine had five minutes before it finished analyzing sand particles.
What? No? The boy felt nothing?
“Yes. I am quite sure !”

Still doubtful about what she could perceive on his hammer - a "breathing" one sounded just ridiculous - but curious nonetheless about what would come out of this, Acheron followed her instructions, grabbing the wires and getting ready for whatever she wanted to do with it.
The spider-builder showed an impressive amount of strength when she pulled on the steel, making a rift for him to put the wires into. Was she always this strong ? Or did her armor help her in that way ?
Acheron held the hammer down in silence while the spider-builder used her weird machine at the other end of the wires. After a few seconds, the hammer started to hum and vibrate, returning to a more "normal state."
Most of the spider-builder's explanations that followed flew above the young man's head - he wasn't really a scholarly boy - but he thought he could get most of it.
He found funny that she seemed to consider the hammer almost like a living thing.
In the end, a word in particular drew his attention :
- Wheelworks... so the hammer is like a clock ? Can it give the time ?
This could be useful : when he got out of the infinitesimal time, it was often difficult to remember what hour of the day it was. At his sister's manor, there were intricate clocks in every room, so he could always know. But when he went on errands, Acheron was often oblivious to it, which already had caused some... problems...
Acheron suddenly frowned, and looked back and forth between his hammer on the ground and the spider-builder.
- You are very talented. Thank you for your help. I think my family might like you.

Acheron suddenly frowned, and looked back and forth between his hammer on the ground and the spider-builder.
- You are very talented. Thank you for your help. I think my family might like you.

Sabrina burst into laughs. What an association of ideas the boy got but no, there was no clock function, nor being able to give wake up call.
“Hahaha, sorry, no offense. But no, your hammer has lived for over several centuries and I am afraid even second hand didn’t appear yet at that time. The way it runs is far different from clock. Or we can say they are like an eagle and a mosquito.”
Hoping this metaphor could help… and she added:
“Also the degree of danger these two can cause is exactly the same as an eagle and a mosquito so be aware while using your hammer, especially, now you know how it operates. The more you get to know it, the more dangerous it may be.”
She increased weight on the last words. Smile on her face eased her serious look in giving out reminding. Anything but hurt was the least hope she had.
By giving a nod, she accepted the boy’s thank and compliment.
“You’re welcome. Not a big problem at all. You are the first kid coming into my lab and it will be my pleasure if I could meet your family.”
Couldn’t be more sincere in her words and that’s true, he was her first guest.
During their talking, the sand machine had finished its work. To arouse the attention once it stopped, Nydoo perked up her voice: Nydoo ! Staring at the cover of machine, Nydoo looked quite like a child waiting beside the oven for cookies.
“Oh, it’s ready.”
Sabrina turned back and saw the red light sparkling.
Just that moment, a flash of light flickered, as if blinking under a big sun. the lab’s light came after. Operation sound was embracing them again. Power returned. Everything appeared as the last scene they stayed at. Recovery from a hibernation, Sabrina’s armour-covered body had stripped away and been replaced by the normal flesh one in less than five seconds.
For the sand on the boy’s eyes, it fell off once attached to a certain amount of brightness automatically and wouldn’t make him feel anything uncomfortable.
To make a sure of his visual, she asked:
“Does color come to you too?”
Moving the broken laser machine to the corner, she dragged a chair to the boy.
“Have a seat.”
Then, Sabrina turned to the sand machine after everything settled up. Nydoo watched her pull out a whole box of “pure” sand. In other words, it had no impure sand. WHAT? How could that be? She never saw “100% sand” without hair, dust or stones in different sizes… except for Nydoo.
This surprising fact made her draw in a gasp.
“Pure sand?”
Not believing in it, she pulled out a keyboard from the drawer and typed as fast as she could to find the place this pile of sand was. Now, the possibility of finding a fossil creature like Nydoo fully occupied in her mind. She had never met sand creature after Nydoo and would really like to make a deep research on it, not only for Nydoo, but also for her experiment.
If Nydoo did find this pile of sand near by; it would do a great favor in digging it up.
BEEEEEEEEEEP.
State came out as what she thought- Désert Phobos.
Without thinking for a second, she asked the boy:
“Could you take me to the place where you find this pile of sand and Nydoo this morning?”
Since answer from Nydoo was only her name, surely, it would be more efficient to ask the boy straightly. They could go to that place first and make a plan afterward.
Not giving a second of waiting, Nydoo let out her scream….
NYDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
As if saying “Waaaaaait, listennnnn to meeeeeee, you guys.”
She joined her hands and stretched straight forward; then a harsh force downward, squeezing her eyes…
Before Sabrina and the boy could make an action…
A human-figured shadow gradually formed on the white wall in front of them three...

Anhydre then dispersed herself into sand particles once the hammer-boy ended in his last word.
A bust of wind ! Damn !
Nearly to felling apart in the air, Anhydre gathered her will tightly together and whirling other parts back around herself. Thanks to the crawling dust on the ground, she hadn’t been found…
Yes. She did come back with “the boy and that creature”. which proved there was something to do with IT ans she had to find it out !
Voice became more like murmuring through air flowing so she got closer to them to hear what they said clearly. However, just before a settlement of sand particle in her ear parts was set, they three turned into the direction of that ground “door”. Not thinking to much, Anhydre kept a certain distance and controlled the density of sand-not to be too cloudy-and followed the hammer-boy’s steps.
Before the automatic entrance fully closed, Anhydre rushed to the corner…behind the bed, where was not too close but also not too far.
Sound waves worked very well and sense of hearing got improved in human form.
In order not to be discover, she flattened herself. Not much space to turn around, well sandwiched in between bed and shelves. She wondered what exactly the pose she had now.
Eyes just tuned around to see the whole surrounding… but soon...
Nervousness crawled on her scalp and fixed her eyeballs in front when she saw that creature had the girl do research on that pile of sand by a weird machine ! She thought they only wanted to use sand to do something, not research. The word, research, she had no clear idea but knew it would get them lots of information about it.
Will that girl find something? Will she find it was actually fine sand? Will she know it was her?
While thinking what could stop them, suddenly, a thought spooned her up from worrying abyss: They will never find it was her ! Yes, they might find sand weird but no clue to find her. They even didn’t know her existence!
PERFECT !
Also, that girl said she would get the boy’s hammer repaired first; that way, she had more time thinking about the solution, which unloaded her anxiety a lot.
Anhydre perked her ears up as an emergent voice the girl asked came.
Where did you get this hammer?
It seemed the boy’s hammer had some kind of power… but to her, the boy had already been a miracle- he could lock time in his zone !
The mention of Crannsliabh made Anhydre tremble. She frowned at the him. There was a moment she thought he was also in that expedition; however, she gave up the stupid thought. Everyone could go there and in her memory, she had no any impression on him.
While the boy giving description about his hammer, she tried to imagine the scene and also his Father.
Just then… less than ten seconds after the hammer-boys stopped, Anhydre saw that small creature were trying to lift the hammer up… when the girl was too fully in her comprehension and during the boy’s waiting. WHAT THE FUCK??? No way !
No time for the girl’s hands reaching to the hammer nor in the boy’s expectation, nor her scream being let out. The small creature was falling down with the hammer… She must do something to safe IT from crushed by the damn hammer.
Opening her palm and a stretch… she got control over IT again. There was not much time to waste. Swiping the creature to the right side straightly, where were the hammer-boy’s feet side. It could be a good place !
As soon as that creature was “thrown on” the boy’s foot, Anhydre had realized what the hell damn thing she had done. For that control, that little creature must know where she was now… and the following-up BONG did give her wonderful shock as a big warning, like the red light sparkling on the wall.
DAMN !
A series of siren rocked shelves and bed up. Seizing the sedge of bed, too keep herself fully filled in, she dare not to move any inch. Today was not her day at all ! No need to guess, it must be that BONG falling caused. Shaking vision blurred her sight to that two people and a creature. Annoying “SINGSINGSINGSING” sound… really got her nerves on.
DAMN !
Thankfully, it ended all by a rather thundering BANG, just before her tolerance to such a disaster rushed over her ration. Her cursed words to that DEMON HAMMER-BOY were drown into a sea of darkness. Sadly, there was no “night-sight” vision in her eyes. She only could guess what the hell happened now by picking some of key words.
To her HEAVENLY surprise, the girl’s voice had become a mechanical one as if she were made into a robot. Thinking of meeting her this morning, she once said: those armoured parts are kind of her body; therefore, was she in her armoured-suit now? That would be so fantastic !
However, no matter how Anhydre squeezed her eyes or pulled them open, in such a distance, nothing could be seen still. Suddenly, a gun power shot ! GOSH ! Was this a trap or something? She was nearly shocked to death again. Did anyone hurt? Was that hammer-boy dead?
Nothing good came to her but shock did the best.
Thankfully, the girl’s voice seemed to be alright. What made her eyes truly open in a pitch-black room was the girl’s word: sand particles. That gun power? So she shot the sand to the boy’s…. eyes? INCREDIBLE.
Anhydre found the hammer-boy’s alive in his voice coming. Colors?!
So… those sand particles improved the hammer-boy’s vision in the dark?
As a sand-made person, no one could be more professional than her but she never heard sand was something good to eyes. NEVER. WEIRD.
After the following moment, Anhydre had no any idea in how the boy’s hammer worked. For her, those mechanical principle went against nature. She even didn’t have pictures of wheelworks in her mind. Nothing like that ever saved in her brain. One thing she knew was: The boy got an ancient and powerful hammer, which was quite dangerous to himself and to this world.
Finally, the light resurrected. Out of her expectation, that small creature stayed beside that machine cover. Owing to those messes and words between the boy and the girl, she was nearly forgetting the sand research was going on… What should she do now???
None of them three know her existence, even that creature, she guessed. If that small creature knew the place she was at now. In that darkness, IT would 100% find her out. But no, it did not. Perhaps, she was wrong from the start. It was all coincidence. The feeling of cheating herself was quite foolish but to keep herself calm, it was the best way.
Peace didn’t last for over five minutes. The girl’s doubt made Anhydre goose bump. PURE SAND?
Since sand shot gun, Anhydre should have known this girl was some sort of expert in sand field. Her rush asking to the boy for taking her to the place where they found the sand did give her a soundly relive. The girl seemed want to break the truth down thoroughly.
Unfortunately, a “scream” of that creature stirred up her nerves AGAIN!
DAMN!
It stretched out its hands and pressed them downward… too late, their sight met !
Beyond the expectation exactly-
To her god-demon frighten, the least thing she hoped happened:
SHE WAS DRAWN OUT FROM THE BED IN FRONT OF THEM BEFORE ANYTHING SHE COULD DO.
She thought she had power to go against it but no ! Somehow, that gesture worked as a spell to her and her body could only followed it.
Now, she did appear right in front of them.
She dropped a word:
“DAMN !”

The hammer wasn't a clock...
Acheron didn't hide his disappointment, for he really wanted this to be true.
The spider-builder warned him about his weapon's strength. He dismissed the comment with a shrug :
- A hammer is a hammer, it's made to break and flatten things. This one is just more effective than others.
The intricate and ancient machinery of his weapon might be unqiue and dangerous to some but Acheron's view of things were a bit distorted ; he lived with a family of the most powerful beings in the world. What was his hammer compared to l'Ombre ?
The light returned with a pop and the machine woke up. He nodded to the spider-builder and blinked several times ; colours did come back. and he could feel that he had something altering his vision. Things looked too crisp for comfort, contours sharpened by this weird sand on his eyes.
He slumped into the chair she offered him, stretching his sore legs. That chair was far less comfortable than the ones he was used to in Eve's manor...
Hearing that the spider-builder wanted to meet his family brought a genuine smile on Acheron's face ; it was his mission to find people his Father would be interested in, and the young man was sure the spider-builder was one of those.
There was a kind of... competition between his brethren, to see who could recruit the more powerful people. Hölle, Eve and Cyriel were the best at this game. If Acheron could recruit the spider-builder... he could prove to his Father that he could do it too.
The spider-builder rushed for her experiment on the sand they had collected earlier. She turned to him, asking questions with a febrility tired Acheron in advance.
He thought about how to answer withthe minimum number of words possible and Nydoo - sorry, Scrap-head - scream gave him some more time to think.
The sudden apparition of that annoying girl from earliermade Acheron groan :
- You again ?
Once an intruder, always an intruder !
He did not want to interact more than this with her, so he turned to answer to the spider-builder instead :
- We collected it in the city, in a small park. Just laying around. We could go back there if you want.

Just before Sabrina caught Nydoo’s track of scream to the direction where a figure appeared, the nerve of messages cut off like losing steps on the stairs; not to mention the pale look shown on her face. Big round eyes stared at the… girl !
Unable to grab any information about “it”- to this whole events and the girl- she bit her lower lip, trying to search this girl’s image in her mind. Well… they seemed to meet before.
To her surprise, the boy’s question did wake her up... in wording. You again? made her frown at the boy in a super “you-know-her” face. Brother and sister? Or Cousins? But could find no similarity shared on their face as family or relatives.
“You know her?…”
While asking, she kept twisting her memory… until this morning, she gasped and pointed at the girl:
“Argh ! You ! That...Juice… wait… so she is your sister?”
Looking back at the boy.
Image always ran faster and clearer than her voice. Anyway, Why was she doing here? AND How?
As the boy’s following saying- a park, she looked at Nydoo, after that scream…
SAND !
Now, her mind was really messy…
Collecting all questions and doubt, she asked the girl firmly:
“Coming for THIS? And how do you get in here? No lie, only truth.”
Showing that plate of sand to the girl, in her tone, serious and harsh could be found.
Behind the asking, she would want to know how she just disappeared in the coffee shop without walking out from the door.
At this moment, She did recall the girl's frightened look to the cup of splashed juice… as Nydoo, in their first meet.

That feeling, Anhydre couldn’t find a specific word to describe. Sense of guilty? Afraid? Angry? Embarrassed? Perhaps, it’s mixed a little bit of them. Next question running in her head was: how to explain everything to this woman, who she met in the bar this morning?
Hopefully, she escaped from anxiety as soon as she saw the creature staring at her. Why she should act like a sinner anyway? Through all of these shit events and misunderstood, she was one of victims. Everything came from that unknown creature ! Also, that was why she was here !
Landing her sight on these three people. A girl, a boy, a creature, she pursed her lips, waiting for their reaction to her… damn?
The response came faster than she thought and the person was also not in her expectation.
“you again?” Two words straightly hit on her head. She raising her left eyebrow with right one lowering close to the eye, biting her inner lower lip and opening eyes as big as she could at the boy, a HARSH look of “What the hell am I bothering you, SIR?” written fully on her face.
Not waiting for any of her “language” defense or attack, the girl’s asking made her jaw-dropped. Sister? Did she just say SISTER? S-I-S-T-E-R?
Anhydre twisted up her mouth and exposed “being disgusted” face. What was she thinking of? Did she think they were playing hide-and-seek? Where the hell was that sibling idea she got? This stupid question was what she never and ever thought about; let alone one day, she would need to clarify it.
But yes, it did happen. Keeping an ignorant silence was not a good option, so she screamed, cutting the way of asking:
“NO WAY. OF COURSE NOT ! At least, not before I die... "
Dodging eye contact with the boy, she didn’t mean to be so sharp but still annoyed and anxious mood splashed over her sanity.
"and yes...I am the girl in the bar!”
Anhydre lowering down her head, the girl’s questions made her hesitant for a few minutes. Hardly has she ever spoken her real identity in past 13 years, she doubted was she supposed to do now, even just invading in someone’s house? Was it worthy? But once thinking of that connection...
Keeping her voice low, she said:
“I am made of sand and yeah, those sand in the plate was also mine… I’ve touched it...and found it…”
And then she looked at the boy:
“in his time frozone.”
To steady the credibility,
“Take it.”
she poured out a few amount of sand from her left palm on the plate the girl gave her.
“And check it.”
She pointed at the creature.
She would really want to know what the damn hell did she have to do with this creature in essential and how to cut off the connection by fair means or foul.

Acheron giggled in a sarcastic tone when the spider-builder asked if the intruder was his sister. What a silly idea !
The girl thought the same apparently, and she retorted with an outraged voice.
The young man bared his teeth at her like a beast - a smile devoid of any warmth, to show he did not like the insult in her acidic remark - and he crossed his arms over his chest :
- Like she said, she is no family to me. Just a stowaway that invited herself into my time when I got hit by Scrap-head and that weird plate earlier, outside your place.
She's a weirdo.
Acheron just sat there listening , thinking that he had said enough. Even if he did not really like the noisy newcomer, he couldn't deny being curious about what brought her here.
His gaze fell on Scrap-head, wondering exactly what was the link between the two. The little creature seemed responsible for that appearing act...
And if the sand they collected in the street was a... part of noisy-girl - the thought made him sick - it was probably why Scrap-head wanted to get it so much. But why ?
